Mark Hewgill

Mark read Chemical Engineering at the University of Cambridge before joining the IT consultancy arm of Price Waterhouse. He later moved to Goldman Sachs where he managed the Non Dollar Repo systems. He is a keen tennis player and is married with three lovely children.

Simon Hill

Simon earned a BSc(hons) in Computer Science from the University of Reading in 1992, although his interest in computer programming started many years before that. He worked with Mark at Goldman Sachs on the Non Dollar Repo team before moving to the Fixed Income Swaps team. Simon is also a qualified commercial airline pilot with over 10,000 hours flying experience. He is married to Katerina and has two young children.

Simon Plumbridge

Simon has spent nearly 30 years working in sales & marketing of consumer goods in the UK. Selling goods to retailers from high department stores (Harrods) to supermarkets (Tesco) in the UK and abroad (Disney). This involved developing and sourcing goods from Asia for resale to retail groups across Europe.

As a young man he worked for BASF AG in their marketing department and speaks good German. This was then followed by working for a UK manufacturer and the subsequent launch of his own business. This culminated in an offer to acquire the business from an AIM listed business. Now some years later Simon is an experienced advisor for the local Business Growth Catalyst program and EU Transition team.
